Hi Guys,

I support many clients and 99% of them use VPN connections for my access. I use Cisco, Juniper, Sonicwall, etc. You name it, I have to use it.

I want to be able to log into my main PC from a laptop when I'm not in my home office so that I don't have to install all those VPN's and connection details on my laptop. So naturally I want to use ScreenConnect. I will connect to my PC using SC, then I will want to start whatever VPN connection to the client.

Question: Will ScreenConnect still continue to work? Or, will I just lose it once the VPN connection runs on my office system?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

No replies to this? I would have thought it to be a common question.

I use SC and VPNs all the time and it really depends on the specific VPN and how its configured/if they block anything. For example if the VPN you connect to is a full tunnel and pushes all of your traffic (including internet) through the VPN does that company block the outbound connection of SC? If it doesn't then it will reconnect. Or if the VPN only pushes local traffic and allows you to utilize your current internet connection for internet traffic then you should be fine, there might be a brief disconnect but it should reconnect.
