How can I delete or edit an Unattended Sessions which is pointed to my own PC?

Thank you

Go to the PC in question, start the Control Panel, and uninstall the Elsinore Screen Connect Guest Service. Since it's your own PC, I imagine you could do this pretty easily.

And how do you do it if you no longer have access to that machine (e.g. no longer a customer), or it been reformatted?

How do you remove it from the Host panel?

well if the guest is still online then the only way is firewall. If the client is offline then it will automatically be removed from the list in 24 hours.

There are a few requests out there for a built in ACL to block connections based on name/session-id, but nothing has been implemented as of yet.

Sorry, but that's not making sense to me.

"If the client is offline then it will automatically be removed from the list in 24 hours."
If a client is offline for >24 hours, it gets removed from my panel? How does the panel know the difference between a formatted system and someone who's on vacation?

I need an option from MY SIDE to remove a client from the list.

Please read more here on session expiration:

section 2.1.6.

As far as having a button to remove I agree and hopefully it will be implemented soon!

First off, Tim -- thanks for the info.

Holy cow! 24 hours is nothing! How do you corporate guys handle a weekend?

So, I just edited my web.config to be a helluva lot more generous. I've got customers on LMI and some are offline for a week at a time.

I think you've misunderstood how it works.

After 24hrs, it is hidden from the list as it's not connected. If the unattended machine reconnects, it will appear in the list again.

I've reduced our time to 1hr. If it's been off for an hour, chances are the user has left the PC.

yes, this is simply for aesthetics will not permanently remove the session, just hid it to clean up the console...

I too need to remove some unattended sessions from the list on the host. I have uninstalled the guest service from the client pc but the name of the unattended session is still in the list on the host panel.

It will remove in 24 hours(default) unless you changed it in the web.config.
