We are having frequent issues with users when they are staying in hotels. When connected to the wifi, the computer will reboot on its own. It will the continually reboot into safe mode every time. The process usually repeats after the user signs in. It should signing in, then automatically logs them right back off and reboots. If the wireless card is disabled then the user can log in just fine. At this point our only option is to disable the ScreenConnect guest service. If we don't disable the service, the user either must get back to their home, or to another wifi hotspot, and the computer boots up fine.

The other issue is that when we have this issue and uninstall the client, it screws up the boot.ini file and will sometimes not allow the computer to boot at all after uninstall. Out only option at this point is to run a boot repair on the OS.

Issues are happening with both Windows XP and Windows 7. We have had issues with both 2.3 and 2.4 of the software.

Anyone have any leads on this issue? Happening more and more. We are thinking of trying to change the port that the client connects back with to see if that makes any difference. This bug is really causing us a lot of trouble and extra support tickets.

I actually just shot them an email as well. Accidentally overlooked the call email function before ^_^ Just goes to show how fundamental reading is!
