I would like to +1 on this feature request as well.
At the moment the tools feature doesnt really suit me because I regularly initiate support sessions from different machines. If Im in the workshop it could be one of 3 desktop PCs. If I'm at home it could be from one of 2 different desktops or a laptop. Its too much of a chore to keep the contents of all these seperate tools folders synced and updated.
It would be great to have a tools folder hosted on the server and perhaps have it accessable from the net as well eg at http://servername.com:8040/tools. This way if one of my customers needed a large file I could send them to this URL which hopefully could be branded with my logo and colours etc.
