Apparently the java.util.AbstractMap$SimpleEntry was introduced in 1.6 and you're running 1.5. We'll reimplement that ourselves so it'll work with 1.5.

I have a strange issue, sometimes when I am logged into a clients computer I cant install certain applications. Some applications simply have no control I have to have the client click on the options for me.

Also on my mac it installs the java client over and over if I connect to different users. I end up with tons of crap in my download folder?

Gee, I guess you don't understand what BETA means. Download the latest stable client for your tests. You won't have the issues...remember the word BETA?

BETA? I wasn't looking for SMART ASS answers from people who have no hand in the development. I was hoping one of the developers would answer my questions with an intelligent answer. I just love when stupid people respond with answers like " get a windows pc" are you kidding me!!! Apple is number one for a reason, but I wont argue that point.

I guess I will email the developers to avoid stupid sh*t like this in the future.

I too have issues (with stable) when using the java clients.. I normally build and unnatended, install that then use it and all is fine.

Another issue I have is with Win7 64 bit clients. They always give and error, but clicking continue it connects anyway. No harm but a little annoying...

I would suggest emailing the developers direct as well or posting in the correct area "Bug Reports". Also this is a professional forum so please act like one.

Cheers

If you aren't elevated into service mode, UIPI could be preventing this. Try elevating by sending a ctrl-alt-del. Also some AV programs try to block us.

This is the only method we can use to launch that I know of. Maybe there is a browser extension that will handle web start without saving the file?

What issues are you having with the java clients?

What type of error are you receiving? Can you screenshot it or copy the text?

Justin, I was being professional up until ignorant people chimed in. I don't care if this is BETA or not we need answers, and not from the trolls on this forum... I want them from the developer.

Wow turn on the news buddy, I own a consulting firm and we convert more people to Apple every day than we do anything else. Windows 8 is going to kill the market... it sux so bad. I suggest you join Microsoft Partner program and start studying. Any how this is the last time I will comment on childish arguments. This is about screen connect not working properly, not what company has a bigger foot hold in the market.

Jake, thank you for responding. The issue I have that's most annoying right now is that if I try to install software on the remote PC I cant see the Windows pop up block that asks (do you want to allow this to run) or (do you want to install this program) only the end user can see it. This happens on many of my remote users.

That's UAC. You should make sure you're elevated into service mode by sending a ctrl-alt-del.
