I am using the latest build (2.4.2234.4400) on a 2008 x64 virtual server. It has two CPU's assigned to it. The "Elsinore.ScreenConnect.Service.exe" is 50% of the CPU, which typically means 100% of one CPU. If I stop the "ScreenConnect Relay" service, CPU usage drops to normal. I didn't notice this with the previous 2.3 version, but I can't say for sure.
I have been using SC prior to the 2.0 versions and have continually upgraded to the latest build. This may have something to do with it, I don't know. I did do a repair install and restarted the server a few times with no change.
All attended and unattended sessions work great, nice and fast. I just don't like seeing the CPU usage stuck so high.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a trick to clean up something from an old version that could be causing the relay service to do this?
Thanks for any suggestions.
