I've done some searching but no direct topics appear appropriate.

I'm currently running version 6 on a HP Z220 workstation (Xeon quad core 3.2GHz), Win7 64 bit with 20GB RAM and ample drive space.

I get the feeling there is an accumulated memory leak from the server service such that after a few days my network speed drops off dramatically for the server only. Internet traffic still measures in the high hundreds Mbps up and down so network speed is great, but the served sessions are slower after a few days and faster immediately after a restart.

Should I reduce the size of my pagefile?

Should turn off hardware acceleration?

Should I stop and restart the service as a scheduled task?

Please send me your suggested server optimizations!

Cheers!

Roughly how many sessions do you have total?

Also, on average, how many concurrent sessions are there?

How large is the Session.db file? You can find it within the ScreenConnect installation folder on the server itself (C:\Program Files (x86)\ScreenConnect\App_Data by default).

Finally, is the server running on a SSD or HDD?

Currently 25 access sessions, with typically no more than 3 concurrent sessions.

I expect that to grow to maybe 40 access sessions and no more than 7 concurrent this year.

Session.db right now is 6.52MB with two concurrent sessions open.

I typically only run Access sessions. I use SC for remote monitoring and interventional control of workstations attached to laboratory equipment. The workstations are not really unattended but the humans working on them often need help and I may be in another country.

I have run less than ten total meeting or support sessions but I reserve the right to start using it more. Great tool!

Sorry.

Running off HDD. Installed on 232GB system (C:) drive about 60% free. I have a data RAID in the machine also for automated low bandwidth file uploads from the remote workstations.

Hmm, nothing jumps off the page to point out an area of concern.

After a few days when the behavior starts to occur, what does the memory and CPU usage look like? The OP said there was a leak of somekind, are you seeing excessive memory usage?
