Is there a way to set the To: value of a Session Event Trigger email to go to the Host of the associated session. For example, there is the 'Notify when guest connects to unconnected support or meeting session' trigger defined, but we would like that to go to the email address of the Host of the session joined instead of the default email or a specific email.

Unfortunately there isn't a solid way to do this but it is possible. The current way is to create a Trigger for each Host and manually specify the email address to where the alert should be sent.

For example, say you have 3 Technicians: Tom, Dick, and Harry. You want them to be notified when a Guest connects to a Support session where no Host is connected based upon who is the Session's owner. The Event Filter for Tom would look like:

Event.EventType = 'Connected' AND Connection.ProcessType = 'Guest' AND Session.Host = 'Tom' AND Session.SessionType = 'Support'


And the To email address would be Tom's email address.

You can then repeat the Trigger creation process for both Dick and Harry, just replacing their usernames within the Session.Host comparator in the Event Filter and using their email addresses.

With all this said, this is potentially something we could make easier/handle better. I recommend registering something within our Product Feedback Portal so other users can voice their opinion/vote on the issue.
