I am trying to merge the Start and General Tabs in the web interface. I have seen it configured this way previously.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?Confused

In version 6.3 we chose to split the General tab into two separate tabs, Start and General (as you describe).

To my knowledge there is no simple way to recombine them without significant modification.

EDIT: to help me understand, why do you want to re-merge these two tabs?

Someone asks me via email to connect to their computer and fix something. I don't see the email until an hour later so I need to check if they are busy before I jump on the computer. It is most efficient if I can see the screenshot and the Idle time in the same view without needing to switch back and forth. You could tell me to look at the Idle time under the computer name in the center pane (list of computers) but it is not updated without refreshing the entire page. I also really like to see the other computer information that was moved to the General tab.
Essentially, your new layout and broken my workflow, not improved it.

I find the Start tab to be a nuisance more than anything. The only information it has is duplicated on the General tab, aside from the preview and Update Guest Info link, which were moved to the "Start" tab from the General tab. I prefer the more condensed and complete info provided on the General tab, and while I can remove the Start tab, I lose the preview and Update Guest Info when I do so.

Ideally there would at least be an option to remove the Start tab and move the preview/UGI link back to the General tab.

Have to agree with this, none of our users have any use for the "Start" tab, this seems to be a wast of space in our case. I would very much like to get rid of this and just use the "Info" tab as before.

Is there any way to do this?

Like everyone else, I too do not like the split. It's tolerable, but seeing all the information on one pane made things easy.

I'm not trying to disagree with any of the points that you guys are making, for the most part I agree infact.
