Hi,

I would like to establish whether we have a problem or not, I noticed in task manager for screenconnect.service.exe there seems to be a really high number of I/O reads listed? 45,000,000 in fact?

Is there a procedure to shutdown/restart processes in a safe manner and clear any logs or cache that may cause an issue?

Kind Regards
Anthony

Try renaming session.db to any name. If this solves your problem then your database is broken - if you do not need historic data, you can leave it renamed (new session.db will be created).
If you want to restart screenconnect server go to services.msc and restart screenconnect relay (it will restart related services too).

Also you will suffer from high load and i/o if you will clone machine with screenconnect client installed. It will have same identifier and it can make troubles (when one disconnects other in loop).

Over how long of a timeframe was this? Sure that number of reads is higher, but if it's over a while then it's mostly expected.

Also kind of curious to the number of pagefaults within the same timeframe.
