I am fairly certain that in older versions (we were on 5.x until yesterday), all Access sessions started out "Collapsed" by default.

In the latest version, the access sessions start out expanded, and the end of the top-most group is displayed by default, hiding the group name and effectively keeping the rest of the groups below the scrollbar.

Any idea where to fix this? I can't find it in CSS - it seems like something in Host.aspx, but I don't like modifying the core files...

Sorry, I'm not sure that I'm followingn what you're describing. Any chance you can post a screenshot?

For the moment, I created a dummy group that has an impossible filter, and made that group first, and therefore, nothing shows expanded by default.

Ahh, I see, thanks for posting those pictures.

Offhand I can't think of a switch or anything that can be modified so they do not expand by default. With that said, I can see the benefit especially for larger implementations so I recommend creating a topic within our Product Feedback Forum so that product management can gauge what would need to be done to implement it/how useful it would be to other users.
