I have never seen this behavior before so would appreciate if anyone might give me some insight. Connected to a Windows server 2008 R2 I normally expect to see any connected RDP connections under "View" >> "select Logon Session" and I can easily click to view a session. I just got off a server where the RDP sessions appear for a few seconds then disappear and this is going on constantly. If I click one of the sessions, for the moment it appears, the screen will display the session for the moment it is available which appears to be a small login screen. This is a small office and there were only three connections at the time I was connected. Any thoughts anyone?

I see this on my clients that open RDS up to the public internet on default ports. Someone is trying to brute force login.

We advise our clients to put their RDS servers behind a firewall with VPN access, or at a minimum use an obscure port for connections.

Thanks, that was my suspicion but I did not want to cry wolf if there is possibly something going on with ScreenConnect.
