Hi,

today I upgraded my 6.3 installation to 6.4.15083.6507, running under Linux.

Everything seems to work fine, except the audit page spits out a runtime error.

How can I check what is going on and how can I fix this?

Best regards

At what point does the audit page emit a runtime error? On load, or when you query the audit log? On what flavor of Linux have you installed the server?

You can temporarily turn off custom errors on your server by modifying the web.config, as explained in this help article:

https://docs.connectwise...n_custom_error_reporting

Please report back with the full error message text and stack trace after disabling custom errors.

Cheers,
Ben

@BWC -- I was able to replicate this behavior in our development environment by installing the latest release of 6.4 onto an Ubuntu 16.04 server. The behavior has to do with mono being unable to handle inputs of type datetime-local. I have registered an issue with development.

As a temporary workaround, you can change code in /opt/screenconnect/Audit.ascx (around line 130) from

Code:

<span runat="server" innerhtml="<%$ WebResources:AuditPanel.FromTimeLabelText %>" />
<input type="datetime-local" runat="server" id="minTimeBox" />
<span runat="server" innerhtml="<%$ WebResources:AuditPanel.ToTimeLabelText %>" />
<input type="datetime-local" runat="server" id="maxTimeBox" />

to

Code:

<span runat="server" innerhtml="<%$ WebResources:AuditPanel.FromTimeLabelText %>" />
<input type="text" runat="server" id="minTimeBox" />
<span runat="server" innerhtml="<%$ WebResources:AuditPanel.ToTimeLabelText %>" />
<input type="text" runat="server" id="maxTimeBox" />

After doing so, the Audit tab should load.

Hi Ben,

the change in Audit.ascx did the trick, the Audit tab is working again. Thanks.
