ScreenConnect ConnectWise stopped working when Avast GUI is active on desktop Avast Version: 17.8.2318. Windows 10 Home (10.0.15063) and connectwise Client Version:6.3.13446.6374. You lose Mouse and Keyboard control. As soon as avast GUI is closed, all is normal. Very consistent. Not sure why this is happening or of a good work around yet.

I am also having this issue. It might be something Avast implemented as a security feature. Which would prevent remote access from disabling Avast.

I'm also having this issue. Pretty frustrating as most of my clients have Avast installed.

Thank you for reporting this behavior. As has been mentioned, Avast is likely intentionally preventing remote support applications from interacting with its GUI as a precaution. I will register an issue with development/PM; perhaps there's a way to whitelist the Control client in Avast.

I'm wondering if you continue to observe the behavior if you add the Control client installation directory to the Avast file path exclusions as outlined in this article:

Cheers,
Ben
