Email Connection Summary

UserPostedImage

Details: Send an email containing access session connection details to the specified email address every time a host disconnects from an access session. The email contains the session's name, the host's name, the host connected time, the host disconnected time, and the connection's duration. Please note that timestamps are expressed in server local time. Requires version 5.6+.

This extension has two settings:

1) ToAddress: Send a connection summary email to this address whenever a host disconnects from an access session
2) EmailSubjectPrefix: Subject line prefix of summary email sent whenever a host disconnects from an access session

Example email:

Subject:

ConnectWise Control Access Session Connection Summary: GustaveWin10

Body:

Session Name: GustaveWin10
Host: Cloud Account Administrator
Connected Time: 11/27/2017 9:55:24 PM
Disconnected Time: 11/27/2017 9:55:35 PM
Duration: 0m 10s

Anyway we can make the to: address be the host?
If i connect to a machine email me how long i connected.
If Bill connects to a machine it emails him.
The way I would like to use this is to help my team remember all of the machines they connect to and how long. So having it email each host after they disconnect from a machine would be great.

Thank you for the suggestion. I can't say for sure if this is possible, but I will look into potentially implementing something like this in the Email Connection Summary extension.

Version 1.1 of the Email Connection Summary extension is now available for download from the Extension Marketplace.

If the extension is installed on a Control server on version 6.3+, an admin can now configure the extension to automatically email connection summary information to the host that disconnected from the session; to enable this functionality, set the ShouldEmailHost extension setting value to true.

Please note that for this feature to work, the server must be configured to use the "Internal" user source. Furthermore, every internal host user must be assigned a valid email address and every internal host user must have a unique display name (the display name for a user is the user name if the display name property is not defined).

As always, please update this thread with any questions or comments about the extension.

Cheers,
Ben
