Our database has a lot of machines that no longer exist so there is no way to end them. I wanted to create a new Sessions.db but when I do all the current machine names revert back to our custom name we use when we first install ScreenConnect. How can I create a new database and maintain the machine names?

Have you enabled database maintenance on your server? Database maintenance can remove ended support/access sessions and their associated events from the database on a schedule of your choosing.

More info about db maintenance capabilities is found here:

Hi Ben thanks for the reply. The problem is they were never ended and don't show up as online anymore so I can't end them. Any other suggestions as to how I can get rid of them? When I run reports they show up.

It sounds like your web.config has been set up to hide access sessions that haven't connected for some period of time.

What is the value of the AccessSessionExpireSeconds setting in your web.config? You can set the value to 0 to show all access sessions (this will restart your server process):

Code:

<add key="AccessSessionExpireSeconds" value="0" />

Once those sessions are visible, you can select and end them on the host page.
