A few things we were thinking.

Hey guys, we were thinking that 2 things would help us a lot.

#1 - A timer for each session would be great that starts and stops when the session has ended.

#2 - A way to change the names for the sessions, sometimes a Tech will do a random generated code and then need to leave that session open would be nice to change the name or to have a note box right beside that session so you can put in a note of what it is.

#3 - A log file for admins so that we can see when a tech logged in and out and on what session.

#1: We do record the time into our log files, but maybe you are looking for more of a clock on the UI?
#2: That is a good suggestion, there could be some complications with this because of the way the sessions are created but I will add this to the list to see what makes sense.
#3: We do have that same log file that is stored in the Program Files folder / Elsinore Technologies / ScreenConnect / App_data / Session. There we capture the session ID, Host name, type of session, the session label, and duration of the session. We are looking at improving the file but I think a lot of what you want is available there.

But again thanks for taking the time to submit your suggestions, we will make sure they all get reviewed and hopefully several will make it into one of our upcoming builds.

#1 - Ya just something small on the UI would be great.
#2 - Thanks for looking into that.
#3 If you had somthing for the admins that just points to that dir in the UI would help alot, becuase all the data is already there.

I agree with ComputerElite-Jason,

A session timer would be a nice feature. Also a "Notes" field for the sessions so the technician could make a note on session that has to stay open.

I would like to add my vote to the session timer. Or a tool so staff can create reports on session times from the logs.

I do agree with all of these and we are ranking them versus other requests for 2.5 and 2.6 as we speak. I wanted to mention here since we were talking about creating reports of log files that we do have a post about that topic here: http://forum.screenconne...porting-on-Sessions.aspx
