I was able to install Screenconnect on my ReadyNas Ultra 4.

Downloaded: ScreenConnect_4.2.6273.5177_Release.tar.gz

Ran install.sh and it completed without problem. But i couldn't reach the server. Checked the /var/log/screenconnect log and saw the following message over and over:

Found this post: http://forum.screenconne...AS-devices.aspx#post7106 where jake indicated that forcing the installer to install 32bit version of mono might work for the Qnap.

I set the install.sh to reference the _i386 mono version:

Code:

# Run distribution-specific function to add the build actions to do startup scripts
build_startup_actions

-mono_executable_file_path=$(get_mono_executable_file_path "$INSTALL_DIRECTORY")
+mono_executable_file_path="$INSTALL_DIRECTORY"/mono_linux_03_i386

# Copy installation files
installer_actions[${#installer_actions[*]}]="
dependency_check

The install completed without problems and the server was reachable.

Heres the install log:

Startup log:

Haven't tested remote connection yet.

Remote connections appear to be working. Had to manually restart the screenconnect service to get this working.

sudo /etc/init.d/screenconnect restart

Followed this guide for using gmail for email: http://help.screenconnec...re_advanced_SMTP_options

Had to install mono-devel to get mozroots and certmgr.

sudo apt-get install mono-devel

Just updated to ScreenConnect_5.4.9849.5781_Release and then to ScreenConnect_6.0.11622.6115_Release. Ran into same problem as post above and changing to the i386 version fixed it.

Apparently my license doesn't go that far. Restored backup to version ScreenConnect_5.0.8132.5459_Install.
