I just finished installing ScreenConnect and everything appears to work good externally, even hosted a support session. However, when I check status, the Web Server Check always fails.

ScreenConnect checked your Web Server service to make sure it is started and working correctly. The Web Server service provides the web page you are currently viewing, and it provides pages for your Hosts and Guests to connect.

When I click the test URL it works fine externally?? any ideas?

Are you using Windows auth? Sometimes windows loopback checking (I still don't understand it completely) will make you use an actual recognized name for the computer rather than DNS when working from the server itself. It's confusing, but it's a reason that check sometimes fails when everything is really correct.

No I am actually using forms authentication. I am also running this check externally from my local network. I will see if the same thing happens when I run it from the server.

You may want to call our support line on Monday to get them to check this out. It could be a manifestation of something else wrong.
