change external ip to url

Is there a way to change the "external ip" to a url?

I'm not really following you. We certainly encourage you to use DNS rather than IPs to address your ScreenConnect, but where are you having problems?

If you visit the website by ip address then it gets stamped with ip for unattended and on demand sessions. If you visit the site by url then the url is what it communicates over. For existing unattended installs the only way is to reinstall or manually modify the service imagepath command line that runs the software.

Thanks! I created the unattended file while on the computer locally and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't connect while at a client's.
