We use Screen connect, it's a great product thank you.

I was wondering though, is there a web api that would allow us to automate the creation of screen connect sessions, and then auto login.

What we'd like to be able to do is have link in our php web app that support people could click on that automatically creates a screen connect session and returns the session id or url, that our system would then automatically send to the client and then auto logs into screen connect.

I saw this post, which looks related, but I can't see how this sets up a session for a specific support user and checks logged in status for our support staff.
