Multiple instances of SC running in Win 7

We've run into this problem a couple of times so far. After installing on a Win 7 machine, SC opens multiple instances, and keeps opening. The notification area of the taskbar is full of the SC icons, and lags the system down horribly. We have ended the process in task manager, uninstalled, and reinstalled, only to have the same problem. Is this a known bug? If so, is there a fix?

We'd have to see this. I've never heard of it. What browser are you using?

IE8. I should elaborate. This is when installing the unattended support installer on a client machine.
