Reboot to safemode / blank screen function

1)Just wondering if it is possible for the feature of rebooting into safemode.

2)The possibility of showing end users some advertisement (video or slides) replacing the blank screen, while we are doing our work.

This is already possible by going to file->reboot and reconnect->safe mode.

The blank screen will have the application title on it. I am not sure many others would want video or slides because that would make the installer that much larger to download.

i t would be Nice if we could just type something different than the application title on the blank screen ... and have control of the font size.

this has been requested before .

No offense but slides? Awful idea. Would be a waste of resources and bandwidth.

Changing the message on the app screen to something other than that app title? Definitely. Give it its own box in the settings.

Since I dabble in marketing from time to time I can appreciate the idea of trying to educate your customers on your offerings or company while in the blank screen setting. But I do agree that it might not mesh well with the technical capabilities. Adjusting the text size, maybe making it its own resource string, and possibly selecting a logo as opposed to text are all reasonable and I will make sure they are submitted.
