Just installed 2.4.2204.4388 when I received a call that required me to connect to a remote server. The connection came up, but the screen was black. I tried again with other computers in other locations with the same results, and at one point the 3 SC services crashed. I didn't get a chance to dig through the logs for the pertinent info as I'm restoring to a previous version.
Server is now 2008 R2.
The unattended sessions are all running older version of SC. One I tried to connect to is at 2.2.1571.4148. Could this be the issue? I didn't want to upgrade unattended clients until 2.4 stable is released.
Update: The restore to the previous version of 2.4 didn't work as well, so I restored back to 2.3.2058.4321 and I'm able to connect to all computers again. Could you please test updating existing 2.2 and 2.3 unattended clients from a 2.4 server and let us know if that will be an option.
I was able to connect to some computers, and I believe those were all deployed within the last couple of months, so they were probably on 2.3.x versions. All other computers which I was not able to connect to were running 2.2 and earlier.
