I know these questions are going to come up, might as well be the one to bring them up. LOL

  • Is new interface a "theme" that we can choose to use or is it "baked in"?
  • Soft deleting?
  • Linux screen capturing - Will this fix the issues posted in bug reports?

The redesign is baked in, right now it's not toggle-able. You can still configure the colors/change the themes as previously though.

'Soft delete' is the ability to hide the event from the Host page but not delete it from the database.

Linux screen capturing fixes some of them, but not quite all. Still investigating some of the compositing issues with Java.

Will the ability to do database maintenance without removing stored notes be in this version?

The two I'm curious about:

Quote:
made so more than one event can be queued for a session at once

Am I correct to understand that with this we will be able to issue multiple terminal commands to an offline client & ALL of the commands will be executed when the client comes online?

Quote:
added balloon/toast to display when guest client X'ed out to indicate it's still running

I must be making this one too complicated because I can't figure out what it means...

Just a guess, and I may be completely off base, but I think the balloon/toast thing means that when the chat window is open and the guest clicks the close, a popup balloon will notify that the connection is still open in case the guest thought closing the chat window ended the session.

Ah, it doesn't specifically mention being chat related but that would make sense.

That is my understanding also.

That is exactly correct, the message is similar to "We're still here!..." that displays when the Guest client application window is closed.
