I know this is a small thing but it would be that much nicer if the login screen's username text field got the input focus when the page first loads.

My SC host:

* Ubuntu 16.04.1
* SC 6.0.11299.6071
* scheme: https

The client where I log in, usually:

* Windows 10
* Firefox

Of course, I could save the username and password in Firefox but I wouldn't want to do that. Is it possible to just save the username and then have Firefox auto-populate it?

Hmm, so when I go to my ScreenConnect server /Login the username field gains focus automatically.

What extensions (if any) do you have installed?

Just Show ScreenConnect Instance Fingerprint. I don't remember installing that. Does it come with the default server installation?

Not to my knowledge.

I'm doubtful, but if you disable/uninstall it, does it change the behavior?

Also, out of curiosity, if you use Chrome or IE/Edge, is the behavior the same?

Yeah, same behaviour in IE 11 and Chrome 52.0.2743.116 m.

Even disabling that extension had no positive effect.

I should have mentioned that I usually access it by first hitting this URL:

https://myhostname.ca/Host#Access/All%20Machines

which redirects to:

https://myhostname.ca/Lo...=6#Access/All%20Machines

with the login prompt. It's there that it would be great to have the cursor already in the user name field. Then it's all keyboard work, no mouse work:

craig[tab]my-password[enter]

Actually, it appears to be related to mono, I was just able to replicate the issue here using an Ubuntu server. I'm going to register it as a defect and we'll take a closer look.

Thanks for the report!

Thanks for the follow-up!

If I may, ideally, it would be great to have the option to autopopulate the username and automatically put the focus on the password field, but I don't know whether that is possible for an https page and whether that is more browser-controlled. But at the very least, putting focus into the username (assuming it is not already populated) would be great.
